Microsoft Finally Reveal the Specs Of The Next Xbox & Hoo Boy It’s Spicy

Microsoft have finally revealed the final specs for their upcoming gaming console, codenamed Project Scorpio. Let me tell you mates, it’s gonna be a fucking beast.

While the finer details of the console are yet to be seen, knowing that it packs a helluva punch in terms of raw computing power is half the battle. Suss the spec comparison below.
For those who don’t speak nerd, this can all be boiled down into a few numbers called teraflops, which is the measure of a computer’s speed. Scorpio clocks in at 6.0 teraflops of GPU performance, while the Xbox One packs 1.31 and the PS4 Pro with 4.2.
Yep, it’s gonna be one spicy son of a bitch. According to the lucky folk who’ve seen it in action, it can run Forza at 60 frames-per-second on 4K resolution. That is, for lack of a better phrase, fucking insane.
We’ll still have to wait and see just how Microsoft plan to take on the likes of PlayStation in terms of their lineup of launch games, which will likely be announced at E3 in June. We’ll be there so you better believe we’ll be sussing that shit out.
Until then, keep on frothin’ the idea of native 4K at 60 FPS, because that’s the pinnacle of gaming right there.
