Like all great video games that stand the test of time, their soundtracks are usually always a defining factor in that longevity.
For example, anyone who says they don’t know the original Mario Brothers theme is a liar and you should unfriend them immediately.
The Final Fantasy series is another example iconic games with killer soundtracks, so to celebrate 30 years of the franchise, the legendary composer, Nobuo Uematsu, is heading to Australia to do a one-off show in Sydney.
Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY will feature a full symphony orchestra, a light show and visuals from the game’s universe over its 30 years.
As well as showcasing the breadth of audio delights from Final Fantasy’s lengthy existence, there will also be brand new scores and arrangements created specifically for this event.
The event will be held at the ICC Theatre on Saturday July 1. You can grab tickets on Thursday February 16 via mjrpresents.com.
