Amazon Prime Has Now Really Truly Finally Officially Launched In Australia

While it might have sort of, kind of become available in Australia around a month ago, Amazon Prime has officially, for realsies launched in our beautiful nation.
Don’t feel too special, though, it also concurrently launched in over 200 other countries – it’s still nice, but.
Along with a nice selection of juicy movie and TV content, you’ll also have access to the full gamut of Amazon originals, listed for your convenience below.
The Grand Tour
The Man in the High Castle
Creative Galaxy
Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street
Tumble Leaf
Wishenpoof

Yes, yes. Very nice. At this stage, only the video streaming portion of the service is available to us here in Australia, whereas our American counterparts also get free two-day delivery on purchases, access to music and e-books and unlimited photo storage as part of their subscription.
Like Netflix, you’ll also be able to download the content for offline consumption and you’ll be able to stream on up to three devices at once. Delicious.
In terms of price, it ain’t bloody bad at all, slugging you a mere $US2.99 per month for the first six months, after which it will likely bump up to the usual price of $US5.99 per month.
Amazon’s online store is expected to make a fabulous appearance in Australia at some point next year.
