I love the way Zimmermann have transfused the girly prettiness of past collections and the sporty sexiness of the brand’s new direction for Resort 2012. The collection, comprising mostly swimwear, lands in stores from May, and the campaign images draw to mind a 2010 interview with head designer Nicky Zimmermann who described the ultimate Zimmermann wearer as “a confident girl… [who is] usually pretty hot.” For the super sexed up Resort 2012 campaign shoot they’ve taken ‘hot’ to new levels, using a steam room for the setting.
Fresh faced Aus models Nicole Pollard and Lydia Collins do a great job of looking banging in the print-heavy swimsuits, accessorised with nothing more than epic tans and some delicate jewellery, styled by the prolific Tamila Purvis with Simon Lekias manning the lens. Hot stuff.
