Jeremy Scott is an acquired flavour.
Half the people in the fashion industry love him, and the other half despise everything he stands for. His eclectic self-titled range most certainly turned heads with its quirkiness, and the sneaker range with adidas was OTT, to say the least.
Now, the designer fronts Italian fashion house Moschino, which has been eternalised in the fashion books as ‘quirky’ and ‘OTT’ – so it would seem the perfect home for Scott.
However, he’s even managed to divide the most devoted of Moschino fans with his ranges. From his ‘McDonalds’ inspired collection, to his recent collection that was completely baby pink, with ‘Barbie’ emblazoned all over it – people either love him or hate him.
The upcoming documentary ‘Jeremy Scott: The People’s Designer’, which features cameos from celebrity fans A$AP Rocky, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus, is being released on Pret-a-Porter on September 18th.
