VIC Rubbed The Magic Lamp & Now The ‘Aladdin’ Musical Is Coming To Melbs

  
Oy! Ten thousand years will give you such a crick in the neck!

But luckily, Disney‘s stage production of Aladdin ain’t being stuffed into one itty-bitty lil’ living space, they’re out sharing their whirling dervish of a show all over the country. 
They’ve performing their insanely impressive production at Sydney‘s Capitol Theatre since July, and now Aladdin is finally heading to Melbourne
Disney Theatrical Productions announced today that Aladdin will be opening at Her Majesty’s Theatre in April 2017. 
The production is absolutely bloody huge, with a cast of 37 including principal cast. Plus, the 337 intricate costumes, made up of 1,225 different fabrics, 712 different styles of beads, almost 500,000 Swarovski crystals and 161 pairs of custom-made shoes. Plus most costumes were handcrafted in Australia. 
The show received critical acclaim when it opened on Broadway in 2014, and has since performed the production in Tokyo, Hamburg and London.
Fuck yeah Melbourne – it is your turn soon. Now, you only got two wishes left, so choose wisely. 

Melbourne tickets will be available through Ticketek from 9AM, Thursday 6 October.
