After opening their first Sydney store on Oxford Street a few years back, our friends at Melbourne label Alpha60 continue to dominate the retail game by opening a second Alphaville retail space in Sydney’s CBD – their sixth in total. According to Co-Director Alex Cleary the shop’s visual focal point was inspired by hidden World War I doll heads: “Following on from our obsession with doll heads that had been dug up in Germany after being buried in World War I, the feature of the shop is over 300 doll heads in the ceiling that have glowing eyes” he explained.
