MAC’s New Makeup Collection Is Inspired By Your Childhood BFF, Troll Dolls

If you were a kid growing up in the 90s, you had a Troll Doll or 15 in your toy collection; 60% creepy and 40% cute, it was practically a rite of passage to spend a good chunk of school holidays brushing their stiff, rainbow hair.
Fast-forward to 2016 and they’re having a second coming as the ~inspo~ for MAC Cosmetics’ latest makeup collection, set to coincide with the release of the animated movie ‘Trolls’ in July.
It has to be said the movie look *truly* terrible, despite Gwen StefaniJustin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick and James Corden lending their voices, but it’s yielded this makeup collection so we can forgive a multitude of sins*.
*except the sins of the CGI guy, who crucified many a memory by ‘modernising’ TDs in the worst possible way.

Anyhoo, the range – called #MacGoodLuckTrolls – is, as you’d expect / hope for, not dissimilar to a rainbow’s vomit.

There’ll be lipsticks, gloss, eyeshadows, pigments, glitter + more in blue, yellow and hot pink with names like Twerkquoise, Dance Off Pants Off, Sushi Kiss, Glitter Grunge and Bubble Butt Magenta.
Take a geez at the collection poster.

“The Good Luck Trolls have evoked love and joy since the 1960s,” says MAC Cosmetics SVP James Gager. “We are so happy we can put the spotlight on them again. M·A·C Cosmetics celebrates pop culture and fantasy – and brings these enchanting characters to life – through this eclectic, bright-hued collection.”

Set a calendar alert for July 28, when the collection is avail online (still waiting to hear if Aussie MAC stories will stock it).
