Kim Jong-Un’s Ex-Girlfriend “Executed With Machine Guns”

If this is true, it’s horrifying. An unconfirmed report from a South Korean news outlet claims that the ex-girlfriend of Dictator Kim Jong-Un, Hyon Song Wol, was among a dozen well known musicians and performers who were arrested earlier this month and executed by firing squad for creating pornography. Members of the Unhasu Orchestra as well as singers, musicians and dancers with the Wangjaesan Light Music Band, were accused of taping themselves having sex and then selling the videos, with copies being sold as far afield as China.

The report quotes a source as saying “They were executed with machine guns while the key members of the Unhasu Orchestra, Wangjaesan Light Band and Moranbong Band as well as the families of the victims looked on,” adding that “all of the families of the executed appear to have been sent to prison camps under North Korea’s barbaric principle of guilt by association.”

Kim’s current wife Ri Sol-ju was also a member of the Unhasu Orchestra before she married the dictator. Kim Jong-Un was seen last year at a performance featuring Disney characters and versions of western songs, which prompted suggestions he may have been more liberal and open to overseas influences that his father, the late Kim Jong-Il.
