Supermodel Gigi Hadid has proven herself to be a half-decent security guard after confidently escorting a stage crasher off the catwalk at yesterday’s Chanel show in Paris.

Vogue reports Hadid, who took to the runway herself during the Paris Fashion Week Spring 2020 show, was on deck when French YouTuber Marie S’Infiltre, real name Marie Benoliel, left the crowd to join the procession of models.
Benoliel, decked out in a houndstooth number but clearly out of her goddamn element, strutted around most of the semi-circular catwalk before Hadid sprung into action.
As the pair met on the catwalk, Benoliel struck a pose and flashed a dumbfuck smile at the audience. Hadid gently guided her away from the scene.
Benoliel’s motive for the incident appears to be nothing more than attention-grabbing, which is the M.O. of all YouTubers, but the incident has drawn attention to the event’s actual security detail.
Video from the scene shows a couple of tuxed-up seccies looking slightly flummoxed by the situation.

In a statement obtained by CNN, Benoliel said “Gigi was quite nervous by all means and reacted quite aggressively to me. She clearly did not understand my comic approach.”
A spokesperson for Chanel added “This person is a comedian known for this type of prank.
“She had crashed another runway recently. Her presence on the catwalk was not planned. Security guards simply led her to the exit at the end of the show.”
There have been no reports of Benoliel facing repercussions for staunching up to Hadid, but being a person who considers this kind of thing ‘satire’ is probably punishment enough.
