Geoffrey Edelsten has spoken to media about his new missus; a blonde American actress in her 20s called Ashley Kirk.
Edelsten, who is 73 years of age, has given an interview to the Herald Sun, in which he calls his ex-wife Gabi Grecko “old news”.
“Gabi is old news. I haven’t heard a word from her since we split last year.”
However, Edelsten actually only lodged divorce papers in the Melbourne Family Court to legally separate from Grecko yesterday, reportedly because of the blossoming romance between him and Kirk.
He opens up about his new partner: he says she’s attracted to him for his big ol’ brains, which he believes to be proven by his plethora of university degrees.
“We have a lot in common and there is sensational chemistry between us.She’s gorgeous, articulate and fun and is attracted to me, I believe, because I’ve a lot to offer.I have seven masters and two doctorates and can help mentor her career.”
Kirk has previously acted in minor roles alongside Bruce Willis in ‘VICE‘, and 2016 action film ‘Precious Cargo‘. She also works as a model, and has covered Maxim and FHM.
The 26-year-old actress reportedly met Edelsten through friends while he was on a business trip ‘several weeks ago’.
The septuagenarian says it’s simply “more fun dating younger women”:
“It is a little unusual for a guy my age I admit but I get lots of lovely ladies in the street asking to have a selfie with me.I don’t go looking for these women, they come to me. I don’t know why but I’m pleased they do. I enjoy it.”
