All hail the mother of cyborgs, as Game Of Thrones’ fiery hero Emilia Clarke has secured a role as Sarah Connor in the upcoming Terminator reboot, according to Deadline.
The casting has quelled the possibility of Aussie bebe Margot Robbie taking out the role, as per the contested three-woman casting race between Robbie, Clarke and Brie Larson. Emilia Clarke will be joining the Terminator reboot in its fifth film, Terminator: Genesis, directed by Alan Taylor, asked for by nobody but with a guaranteed and dedicated audience, because Schwarzenegger.
Emilia Clarke will reportedly be joined by Australian actor Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty; Lawless) as John Connor, and will be on screens for Terminator: Genesis in July 2015. Clarke joins previous Sarah Connor alumni Linda Hamilton and fellow Game of Thrones’ royalty Lena Headey. Looking forward to seeing this Ten kill it with a machine gun.
