BREAKING: Reports Of Up To 18 Injured In A Ferry Crash At Circular Quay

Word is emerging this afternoon that as many as 18 people have been injured in a ferry crash at Sydney’s Circular Quay.
That number of injured people is, at this stage, unconfirmed as authorities assess the scene. Media crews racing to the scene are reporting that the incident occurred on Wharf 4 of the Quay.

It’s not known at this stage what boat was involved in the crash, nor what caused the incident. Channel 9 is reporting that the injuries suffered are minor, and at least some people are thought to have fallen from the ferry.

At this time of day, Wharf 4 services the F4 Darling Harbour loop, the F5 Neutral Bay loop, and the F7 Eastern Suburbs ferry route.
More to come as this story develops.
