Adam Scott Becomes First Australian To Win The US Masters

If you’re wondering why stuffy businessmen are running around the CBD losing their shit right now, it’s because Adam Scott has just become the first Australian to win the US Masters! Sinking a monster putt to close out his final round, Scott looked set to claim victory before Argentine golfer/gentleman extraordinaire, Angel Cabrera birdied and sent the pair into a sudden-death championship play-off. Having grown accustomed to Aussie grand slam chokes, fans feared it was going to be another case of oh so close, until Scott birdied to Cabera’s par on the second hole of the play-off, winning the coveted Green jacket.

Predictably Twitter went nuts, with Olympic gold medalists, news presenters, and disgraced cyclists alike, congratulating Scott on his epic win.
