Watch: You Need To Visit The World’s Tallest Water Slide In Kansas City

With a name that would instil fear into the hearts of even the most ardent macrophile, the world’s tallest water slide, The Verrückt, has begun testing on human subjects at its home at the Schlitterbahn Water Park in Kansas City, now known as the next pitstop on Your American Holiday Itinerary

Per The Verrückt’s delightfully unhinged FAQ [Q: “SO HAVE YOU RIDDEN IT?” A: “r u INSANE?“], the slide is twice the height of the tallest wave ever surfed, taller than Niagara Falls and the Statue of Liberty, and requires those with zero phucks given where the whims of gravity are concerned endure a 264 step climb before beginning their descent.
It’s anticipated each four person velcro-strapped raft will reach speeds of up to 104km/h, and the slide is expected to open at some point later this year after repeated delays and sandbag testing.
