Rabbitohs Star Greg Inglis Reveals Secret Son In Father’s Day Instagram Post

Yesterday, in an Instagram post timed to coincide with Father’s Day, South Sydney Rabbitohs star Greg Inglis revealed that he has a secret son, in an attempt to encourage other fathers to show support for their children.
The 28-year-old said that, when he was separated from his long-time partner and now wife Sally in 2009, he had a relationship with his former high school girlfriend, and his son, named Riley, was born.
Riley is now five, but Inglis says he has been kept out of the public eye out of respect for his mother’s privacy; he and wife Sally also have an 18-month-old son named Nate.
Inglis posted photos of his sons together, and wrote:
During a well publicised break in 2009 from my beautiful partner Sally, who is now my lovely wife, I briefly reconnected with my high school sweet heart. The result being this awesome and outgoing boy named Riley. His mother is a very private person, but now that he has started school, we need Riley to know that I’m proud to call him my son. I hope all you dads out there who read this and know they can do better, stand up and be the best father you can be to your child/children.. Hope all Dads out there have a great Father’s Day..
