Pedestrian Meets Derrick Rose

It’s easy to forget that the only player in the past five seasons to have disrupted Lebron James’ MVP dominance is Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose.

I guess he hasn’t been around lately. In a horrific city-deflating knee injury sustained in the first round of the 2011-12 playoffs against the Philadelphia 76ers, the most beloved Windy City hardcourt star since you know who tore his ACL, forcing him out of the rest of the playoffs – and – in a savaged display of caution, the rest of the next season.

Last season, the Bulls fought on without him. This year they won’t have to. Rose is back and he’s here to make you remember him.

Pedestrian caught up with D-Rose in Manila to talk Jay-Z love, his all-time starting five, how he made the perfect shoe with adidas, and his top three spots in Chicago.

The D Rose 4 is available from today at selected adidas Sport Performance and Footlocker stores as well as adidas.com.au for $180 in multiple colour ways.
