The WBO’s best pound for pound fighter of the decade Manny Pacquiao has suffered the dubious honour of becoming a worldwide meme punchline after being sensationally knocked out by long-time Mexican rival Juan Manuel Márquez in Las Vegas over the weekend. Having already found himself on the wrong end of one of the worst boxing decisions of all time when he lost on points to US fighter Timothy Bradley earlier in the year, Pacquiao has finally suffered his greatest indignity… copping internet taunts from Justin Bieber.
Thanks to the due dilagence HBO Boxing lawyers, this was the closest thing to the Pacquiao knock out that we were able to get our hands on.
While all the internet fuss may leave Pacquiao temporarily red-faced, it appears Bieber is no longer welcome in the Philipines after mocking their national hero with the Manila Chronicle reporting on the thousands of distressed comments from distresses Filipinos.
