What what what!? Lionel Messi and Kobe Bryant on the same flight! Who would you inappropriately interrupt mid-long-haul flight to ask for an autograph? In this latest Turkish Air ad, Bryant and Messi take matters into their own hands as they duke it out in a battle of skill, one-upping each other in a bid to steal away the young fan’s attention. Sports stars hamming it up for the camera is always entertaining but if I have one gripe, it’s the predictability of the ending. The kid with poor dental hygiene will ALWAYS pick ice cream. Duh!
In the interest of public health and safety, we urge Turkish Airlines to release a follow-up ad set 20-years in the future explaining that kids silly enough to ditch Bryant and Messi for shitty airline ice cream nearly always end up morbidly obese diabetics.
