Kevin Love Co-Stars in Kyrie Irving’s ‘Uncle Drew’ Sequel

Tip of the hat Pepsi Max. I don’t know when ads started getting sequels and clocking run times of 4 minutes but if they maintain this standard, I’m all for it.

Back in May, Pepsi Max joined forces with Cleveland Cavaliers guard and 2012 NBA Rookie of the Year Kyrie Irving in a sublime piece of advertising gold. Post Hollywood standard make-up job, Irving was reborn as Uncle Drew, the rickety old-timer who could still teach the young-bloods a thing or two about sinking buckets. Well Uncle Drew is back for some more ankle breaking, long range hitting, monster dunking action. This time he’s getting the old crew back together starting with Wes, brought back from the brink by Minnesota T-Wolves power forward and Olympic gold medalist Kevin Love.

What these young-bloods have to understand is that this game has always been, and will always be, about buckets.”
