After England‘s ritual humiliation at the Euros 2016 at the hands of Iceland, one thing is absolutely for certain: The Icelandic commentator is quite chuffed about this specific turn of events.
You can tell that’s the case because of the supersonic scream/violent testy pop he experiences while watching his side gunning for it.

This guy rules. This is what commentating should be: screaming incoherently into a microphone in an expression of pure ecstasy and joy. He did it in the Austria game last week too. He’s just squealing madly and I respect him for it:
The bloke’s name is Gudmundur Benediktsson, which is an insanely Icelandic name. We hope that Iceland continues to triumph right until the end so he can keep screaming so loud our computer displays crack.
