A few weeks back, Cristiano Ronaldo was caught out creeping super hard on Margot Robbie, after he went on a late-night liking spree of her Instagram pics. Apparently, that wasn’t his only unfortunate experience with the female population of Australia.
Over the weekend, Melbourne-based model Aline Lima revealed that she shut him down hard after he sent her a series of thirsty WhatsApp messages while he was in the country with Real Madrid for the ICC.
Lima says she originally contacted Ronaldo through Instagram, asking if he’d received a fan message from her boyfriend. He responded by asking to see pics, plz – specifically, photos of her at the gym.
She told him she had a boyfriend and he wouldn’t be into that; the conversation had apparently moved to WhatsApp at this point, where he responded “No one knows, baby. Quiet. I do not show anybody.”
As she continued to knock back his advances, Ronaldo, apparently not used to rejection on that level, wrote back “Seriously?”
Lima persisted in asking if Ronaldo would meet her boyfriend (who may or may not still be a fan) and eventually he replied, “Yes, beautiful. But it is difficult. I do not want to know man. I want to meet you.” That didn’t happen, and now here we are.
Ronaldo split with his Russian supermodel girlfriend Irina Shaky allegedly this year, apparently because of incidents like this one; Lima is a former finalist in Miss Latina Australia.
