Despite the fact he did not win the fight against Floyd Mayweather, Conor McGregor still scored at least US$100 million from the bout, so he can probably be forgiven for partying hard in Vegas and footing a AU$125,000 bill.
While victor Mayweather retreated to his own strip club, McGregor partied until the early hours of the morning at the Encore Beach Club at the official afterparty. He shouted his entourage to the tune of over $100K in free drinks too.
McGregor was wearing sunglasses – inside, no less! – to cover up the fact he’d copped a pretty huge shiner during the fight that night.
He didn’t get the venue til 3am, which makes the bar tab even more impressive. We’re choosing to believe he personally drank approximately 90% of it.
“Thank you so, so much,” he said to fans at the venue. “Honestly, to everyone, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all so much.”

Well. Imagine how big that bar tab would have been if he’d beaten the insane odds and won. Not that it would have ever happened, no matter what a drunk, sweaty MMA fan told you at the pub yesterday.
