Those of you clamouring to get your hands on tickets to the historic and massive two-game exhibition series between Australia’s own Boomers and Team USA‘s cream of the NBA crop will only have to wait a few more days, with ticketing details for the mammoth games finally released this morning.

The two-game series is set to take over Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium in August 2019, with crowds of up to 50,000 expected at both clashes, which come a mere week before the beginning of next year’s hotly anticipated FIBA World Cup in China. The games will serve as vital tune-up clashes for both squads, and Team USA’s side in particular is set to be the highest profile and most talented squad ever assembled on Australian soil.
The general public will be able to get their hands on tickets for the games at 1pm on Wednesday, August 29th, which is precisely two weeks from today.
Tickets will start at a reasonably hefty $89.90 for adults and $69.90 (nice) for children, and that will more than likely be for a spot in the top tier somewhere. As with all these sorts of things, if you want to get closer to the action, you’re gonna have to loosen the purse strings. But that said, a close-up look at an all-star NBA squad playing competitive ball is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, especially here in Australia.
