Well fuck, this was a bit more exciting than game 1. Queensland have managed to wrap their gorgeous (if you’re from NSW, replace ‘gorgeous’ with ‘grubby’) mitts around another State Of Origin win, beating NSW 26 to 16.
It’s a good outcome for coach Kevin Walters, who took the reigns this year as Queensland coach after Mal Meninga moved upwards to coach Australia.
Highlights were three fucking incredible tries from Dane Gagai, who is just an unbelievable athletic powerhouse, and some incredible but unsurprising kicking game from Johnathan “Best Player In The League” Thurston.

It was also one of the strongest sides NSW have fielded for a long time and it was a genuinely hairy match, it’ll still be worth watching game 3 even if it doesn’t mean shit.
