Witches Everywhere Are Casting A Big Ol’ Spell Tonight To Make Trump Fail

 

Witches from all around the world are coming together at midnight to ‘bind’ US President Donald Trump – or for anyone who isn’t a witch or a Wiccan scholar, they’re casting a spell on him in an attempt to cause his failure as the President.

The spell will happen today, Friday March 24th, which is a ‘crescent waning ritual day’. The participants plan to repeat the spell every waning crescent ritual day – which includes March 26th, April 24th, May 23rd, June 21st, and so on – until Trump leaves office. 

The witches are even encouraging non-witches to perform the spell with them – which seems a bit fruitless to us if we’re honest, what help is a magic-less Muggle gonna be? But if you’re keen, then here’s what you gotta do. 

You need:

• An unflattering picture of Trump
• A Tower tarot card
• A bit of an orange candle (or you can use a baby carrot if you cbf going to a $2 shop and finding an orange candle)
• A white candle
• A pin or small nail
• Small bowls of both water and salt
• A feather
• Matches
• An ashtray

NOW, you little witch/warlock, here’s what you do:

1. Inscribe ‘Donald J. Trump’ on the candle or carrot using the pin or nail

2. Arrange the rest of the items in a circle

3. Lean the Tower card against something so that it’s standing up vertically

4. Say a prayer for protection and invoke blessing from your preferred spirit or deity. Reading the 23rd Psalm aloud is common.

3. Start reciting a banishing ritual, which goes like this (instructions are in BOLD CAPITALS, the italicised is to be recited:

LIGHT WHITE CANDLE

Hear me, oh spirits / Of Water, Earth, Fire, and Air / Heavenly hosts / Demons of the infernal realms / And spirits of the ancestors

LIGHT ORANGE CANDLE

I call upon you / To bind / Donald J. Trump / So that he may fail utterly / That he may do no harm / To any human soul / Nor any tree / Animal / Rock / Stream / or Sea.

Bind him so that he shall not break our polity / Usurp our liberty / Or fill our minds with hate, confusion, fear, or despair

And bind, too, / All those who enable his wickedness / And those whose mouths speak his poisonous lies.

I beseech thee, spirits, bind all of them / 

As with chains of iron / 

Bind their malicious tongues / 

Strike down their towers of vanity

INVERT TOWER CARD VERTICALLY

I beseech thee in my name

SAY YOUR FULL NAME

In the name of all who walk / 

Crawl, swim, or fly / 

Of all the trees, the forests, / 

Streams, deserts, / 

Rivers and seas / 

In the name of Justice / 

And Liberty / 

And Love / 

And Equality / 

And Peace / 

Bind them in chains / 

Bind their tongues / 

Bind their works / 

Bind their wickedness
