PEDESTRIAN.TV celebrated its 10th birthday last Friday – and we ain’t the kind of people to half-ass these kind of things, ja feel?
We took over cocktail bar Eau De Vie, Chinese joint Fu Manchu, and the entire Kirketon Hotel, in Darlinghurst, Sydney, decking out each hotel room with a different theme to keep things interesting.
Rooms included:
The Sexy Photoshoot Room, where our sexiness was superseded only by our drunkenness and the number of sex dolls on offer as props:
The CSI Room, complete with a fucking terrifying zombie jumping out and causing our guests to nearly crap their fancy, black-tie panties:
The Virtual Reality Room, thanks to Contiki:
The Honeymoon Suite. If you put the ball gag in your mouth, don’t tell us; we don’t wanna know:
The Candy Shop Room, in which we let you lick the lollipop:
The Karaoke Room, also with thanks to Contiki:
The Strip Club Room, where all of our dreams came true:
The Inflatable Pool Room, thanks to STUDIOCANAL‘s ‘We Are Your Friends‘:
The Wedding Room, complete with a very young-looking Elvis:
The Carnivale Room, also thanks for Contiki:
And finally, the crowning jewel; The ~iconic~ Chris & Oscar Room, in honour of P.TV’s two co-founders:
Fingertips DJ spun tracks for us while 450 guests including, but not limited to, Matt Okine, Danny Clayton, Pip Edwards, Nicole Adolphe, Elle Morris, Megan Blake-Irwin, Hugo Gruzman of Flight Facilities, and Suhana Lye of The Faders partied into the wee hours of the morning.
Keeping everyone hydrated were copious amounts of Fused by Skyy vodka premixes, Smirnoff Vodka or Captain Morgan Spiced Rum cocktails (of which we consumed 500+) and Pacifico & Corona beer (we didn’t count how many of those, but it was definitely too many).
We’re still hungover, tbh.
Can we do it all again?
