WATCH: ‘Strayan Hero ‘The Camp Man’ Is A Lesson In Living On Your Ass

There isn’t a soul among us who hasn’t trudged, bleared-eyed into work to do some repetitive shit for the umpteenth day running that hasn’t occasionally fantasised about packing it all up, leaving it all behind, just jumping in a ute and driving, driving till you reach the middle of bumfuck nowhere and no one can contact you because whoops! you left your phone behind and there’s no reception anyway.

If it is the former, then ‘Strayan bloke ‘The Camp Man‘ – real name Dale, last name pending (our q’s were met with an autoreply telling us he’s “stuck on an island” and might take a while to get back to us) – might be your new hero.

He’s ya typical country bloke with a dog, a ute, and a bloody great pair of servo sunnies, but lives his life on the road and out of his trailer, just working when he needs the funds and basically doing whatever the hell he wants.

But his latest post is going bonkers viral.

In it, Dale explains just how he manages to live the drifter nomad life, and spoiler: it’s simple AF. Call it the modern Australian interpretation of Tim Ferriss‘ ‘The 4 Hour Work Week‘.
