Two burglars had a wild time in LA today, leading cops on a high speed chase through rainy streets after fleeing the scene of the crime in a rental Mustang convertible.
The crims seemed to be taking it pretty easy: waving at people, occasionally standing up and, apparently, dancing.
They also took advantage of the slick roads and did a few sick doughnuts before carrying on with the “getaway”:

Update: A driver wanted for a burglary in Cerritos made several “donut” maneuvers on busy, rain-slicked Hollywood Boulevard amid a pursuit that lasted some two hours Thursday.Watch KTLA’s video here: http://on.ktla.com/efu7s

The fuzz had to give up vehicular pursuit (what a fun term), because these loose units were driving mad dangerously on very wet roads, but they kept up pursuit via helicopter, because it’s America and of course they have those.
News ‘copters got footage of them stopping to say hi and take selfies with some mates, before the cops caught up with them and they surrendered peacefully.

There were a few bumps, scrapes and near misses but luckily no one was seriously hurt.
