Today, new President of the United States, Donald Trump has announced that he’s launching a major investigation into the way the US voting process is managed.
Why, you ask? Well, Trump is still just stone-cold adamant that the election that saw him become the leader of the free world just absolutely reeked of voter fraud.
Shockingly, he has so far provided absolutely no facts or proof to back up this rather vague and spurious claim.
So now, he’s announced he’s launching a major investigation into something that, err – doesn’t seem to exist.
I will be asking for a major investigation into VOTER FRAUD, including those registered to vote in two states, those who are illegal and….

The social media announcement comes days after Trump told members of Congress that he believes he lost the popular vote because around 5 million undocumented immigrants illegally cast a vote for Hillary. (In real life, Hillary won the popular vote by approximately 3 million votes.)
Despite winning the Presidency, Trump has repeatedly ranted that he would’ve won the popular vote if it wasn’t for Hillary benefiting from massive “voter fraud”.
Sean Spicer told press that Trump believes around 5 million undocumented refugees illegally voted.
Trump’s allegations have been publicly slammed by Democrats and Republicans alike, and previous investigations by academic researchers and the government bodies found no evidence of voter fraud.
The former director of Public Affairs in the Department of Justice, Matthew Miller, called Trump’s planned investigation “dangerous.”
“The federal government is now going to launch an investigation into something where there is no evidence any wrongdoing has occurred, all because the president’s ego is hurt. Then Republicans will use that investigation to justify restrictions that make it harder for people to vote.”
In Tuesday’s press conference, Spicer told journos the decision was based on a study “that came out of Pew in 2008 that showed 14 percent of people who have voted were non-citizens”.
A Pew Charitable Trusts spokeswoman said that no such study exists.
