For the love of Lil’ Sebastian, folks, NBC’s Parks and Recreation have dropped a trailer for their sixth season, curing the deep-set depravation Parks and Rec fans have had during the long months since its season 5 finale. It’s been a dark time.
The season 6 trailer marks Treat Yo Self day 2013, as we’re spoiled with the dream team of Ben and Andy, in London, no less. Andy explains his significant weight loss since last season (courtesy of Chris Pratt’s role in Guardians of the Galaxy, transforming him in to an unlikely bebe) as simply abstaining from beer, Ben confirms that everybody hated him in high school and Andy provides us with an unforgettable Aussie accent.
And while this trailer may be absent of Jerry, Leslie, April, Ron and Ann, it’s hard to feel hard done by when Tommy Timberlake, Jean Ralphio and Mona Lisa are brought back to us once more, with Jean Ralphio slamming down the perfect mantra to live by, bless his precious soul: “When life gives you lemons, you sell some of your grandma’s jewellery, and you go clubbing.”
Apart from swapping Pawnee for London during its first episode, Season 6 also delivers a promising new character in the inexplicable form of Heidi Klum, who will play another Mayor in the show’s heated local, political landscape.
