To be perfectly honest with you, when we heard there was a Taiwanese animation of the Abbott-Turnbull #Libspill, we were expecting some delightful batshittery; after all, their animation of the James Packer / David Gyngell punch-up featured kangaroo cops, Miranda Kerr being shot by lasers, and Rupert Murdoch‘s dorsal fin.
Well, we were wrong. And we don’t mind admitting we were wrong.
If this Taiwanese animation isn’t an example of some of the finest journalistic work of our time, then the world has officially lost it.
They have – correctly – identified Australian federal politics at the highest level as a revolving fucking door.
