The Suspect From That Viral Facebook ‘Date Rape’ Story Has Been Identified

By now, pretty much everyone has glimpsed the absolutely amazing story of the three women who stopped a potential date rape at a restaurant. 
ICYMI:
Late last week, Sonia Ulrich, Marla Saltzer and Monica Kenyon were at happy hour at Fig Restaurant in Santa Monica, when they noticed a man put something into the drink belonging to the woman he was having dinner with. 
They told the woman, and the staff of the restaurant – the woman said the man was a close friend, but stayed there while the restaurant reviewed CCTV footage then called the police. The man was arrested on the spot. 
The three women posted the incredible story in detail on Facebook:
Now, the man has been identified – the Santa Monica Police Department have released his name, image, and bail terms in order to make an example of him. 
ABC7 is reporting that the man, Michael Hsu, remains in custody at the SMPD Jail on bail of US$1 million. 
Police said they recovered multiple vials of an unknown substance in his possession. They also said they executed a search warrant at Hsu’s home, but have not disclosed what they found. 
Police are now asking any other witnesses to come forward with information.
