Brandon Clark, who stands accused of the murder of 17-year-old gamer and influencer Bianca Devins, just pleaded not guilty despite a plethora of incriminating images published online.
According to his attorney, Luke Nebush, the 21-year-old has rejected the offer to plead guilty and serve a 25-year sentence for Bianca’s murder.
Clark is accused of murdering the popular gamer, slashing her throat and posting horrific images of her body on an online Discord chat.
A number of members of the Discord gaming community called police after images of what appeared to be Devins’ deceased body surfaced on July 14.
Multiple chilling messages allegedly from Clark accompanied the images, including a photo of the words “May you never forget me” spray-painted next to Bianca’s corpse.
Police believe the pair were driving home from a concert in New York when an ultimately fatal argument broke out. Hours later, images of Devins’ body went viral online.
Discord has issued the following statement and is assisting police with the case.
“We are shocked and deeply saddened by this terrible situation, we are working closely with law enforcement to provide any assistance we can. In the meantime, our hearts go out to Bianca’s family and loved ones.”
Bianca’s murder has sparked outrage online, with many fans taking to Twitter to express their grief and disgust in the actions of her alleged killer:
So because Bianca Devins, a 17 year old asexual girl, refused to have sex with a man he cut her head off and posted it on social media. Disgusting.
