The federal election is tomorrow, and as you might imagine, the current climate involves all the parties frantically scrabbling for the votes of those people who didn’t pre-poll. There aren’t any new policies to mention, so that means it’s all about outreach.
And for the Liberal Party today, that means the greatest form of outreach of all – A Snapchat selfie filter of a disembodied hand voting for the Libs.
Look, we’re not really sure who the target market for this one is. Snapchat’s key demo is teens, so maybe they’re just trying to bring teens into the broad church of classical economics and the staid hand of good governance and management.
Or maybe it’s just some shit to do because we’ll write about it. Just remember – if you’re sending rude sexts today, remember to swathe your awful penis in a Vote Liberal filter so everyone knows precisely who you intend to vote for.
