Get ready, Australia: Dick Smith is back up and ready for round two.
The recently finished electronics store has relaunched today as an online store, just one day after its last brick-and-mortar store closed.
Kogan.com – whose founder Ruslan Kogan purchased a $400m in debt Dick Smith in January – announced that the relaunch arrived one month ahead of schedule. Hey, whaddya know. Dick Smith came early.
It all looks pretty much the same, but as SBS points out, the IRL Dick Smith’s face no longer appears as part of the logo.
Still, with rumours that Mr Smith might be eyeing off Bronwyn Bishop‘s former seat of Mackellar in the upcoming Federal Election, we might be seeing his face enough anyway…. and imagine the dick jokes we could make then.
