We’re at the absolute peak of the CRIME CONTENT WAVE, and everyone who isn’t making a podcast about a serial killer is trying to get a TV show about a serial killer off the ground.
The latest cab off the rank is My Friend Dahmer, based on John Backderf‘s graphic novel of the same name. It’s about serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, who murdered 17 men and boys in the Midwest United States between 1978 and 1991 before being arrested.
The movie focuses on his life in high school, before he committed any of his murders. It stars Disney Channel star Ross Lynch as Dahmer, in a particularly creepy turn. Now we’ve got a trailer!
Spooky. The film doesn’t have a release date as yet, but it does look like one to watch.
