Sydney Just Got A Little More Apple

Forget Parklife, Future Music Festival, and Big Day Out, the real rock stars this summer will be at the opening of Apple’s new store in Hornsby this weekend. Curious dads. We mean curious dads. Over three years since opening their Apple flagship in Sydney’s CBD, the tech juggernaut welcomes its 13th Australian store this Saturday in Hornsby where it is sure to be an epicenter of all that is white and hip in North Sydney. And just like your dad showing you his Status Quo tour shirt circa ’76, you can show your kids your Apple Hornsby shirt, if you’re one of the lucky first thousand people in line. So if you ache for a day where the word ‘genius’ was reserved for Einstein, and a ‘playlist’ only included: stickball, swim, wrestle, and hide-and-seek; then avoid the area. For everyone else, the store is in Westfield Hornsby, Shop 2090-2093, 236 Pacific Highway, Hornsby. NSW 2077.
