Someone Recognise These Turtle-‘Surfing’ Gronks So They Can Be Fined Already

A sickening photo of two Aussies “surfing” a turtle on a beach Fraser Island has exploded on social media, drawing widespread condemnation from anyone with even half a brain as well as animal rights groups.
Originally posted to Facebook by Gold Coast resident Ricky Rogers (it’s unclear whether he’s one of the two people in the picture), the snap has since been shared more than 4,000 times in an attempt to identify those involved.
The pair could face fines of up to $20,000 if they’re found to be interfering with a natural resource, according to a statement from the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, whose rangers are already investigating.
“There is some evidence to suggest that this turtle was deceased at the time of the photo,” a QPWS spokesperson added. “QPWS are taking this matter seriously and investigating further.”
RSPCA Queensland spokesperson Michael Beatty slammed the two men as “complete idiots”.
“These guys are just complete idiots – there’s no way they should be doing what they were doing,” he said.

“Per usual, they’ve been idiots and posted it on Facebook…(and) hopefully people on Facebook will let them know what idiots they were.”

Which brings us to our next point: if you know either of these bell-ends, you should definitely get in touch with the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection (EHP) on 1300 130 372.

These guys will thank you for it.
