Shut The Fuck Up, Andrew Bolt

In what’s likely some sort of land-speed record for being an asshole, the Herald Sun‘s resident six-figure piss baby Andrew Bolt has already begun gloating about this morning’s George Pell High Court decision, wilfully misinterpreting the ruling to suit his own godawful narrative and taking pot shots at the ABC in the process.

Bolt took to his Herald Sun blog – an enclavic pit of four-sentence screeds that reeks of red wine and boeuf and is solely populated by commenters who have all dropped a Hard R within their last 1,000 spoken words – mere minutes after the decision was revealed. It took all of seven words for it to become readily apparent that he should shut the fuck up.

Bolt’s first claim asserts that “The High Court says George Pell is innocent,” which isn’t strictly true, and he should shut the fuck up.

The High Court found there wasn’t enough evidence to convict Pell of historic sexual abuse charges. In the strictest legal terms, there remains a not insignificant difference between not guilty and innocent. This publication does not suggest that High Court’s ruling is flawed. It does, however, suggest that Andrew Bolt should shut the fuck up.

In the blog post, which had to have been difficult to write behind the screen-eclipsing erection his spinnaker-like chode must be spouting right now, Bolt stated “shame on everyone who joined this witch hunt against an innocent man,” for “ruining him,” and “sending him to jail,” for a “crime he could not have committed.”

To provide a counterpoint to that, we suggest that if anyone must shoulder the burden of shame right now, it should be Andrew Bolt for not shutting the fuck up.

Bolt even went so far as to chastise the ABC for not, get this, publicly trying to cast doubt on an on-going jury trial, asserting “Not a single ABC presenter or reporter publicly doubted his farcical and obscene conviction.”

Which is a wild thing to say considering he could’ve just shut the fuck up instead.

It’s a godawful scenario, that there are people out there today suffering dearly as a result of today’s events; that their trauma and hurt has to be so publicly dug up and left to rot in the unforgiving sun. And it’s even worse that this bloviating sack of shit couldn’t even wait until the ink on the ruling was dry before hooting spittle and flecks of last night’s curried mince through his $200,000-a-year Murdoch Megaphone™.

Shut the fuck up, Andrew Bolt. Shut the FUCK up, mate.
