Shane Warne Foundation Bowled, Spinner Announces His Charity Is Donezo

The troubled Shane Warne Foundation has announced today that they are ceasing all operations. 

The company first allowed insight into its issues when they blocked the release of their ‘damning’ financial records, due to the public questioning the fiscal viability of the lavish events it held. 
Then, 2015 continued to be a disastrous year for the company reports surfaced that brand-new CEO Emma Coleman had left the company. While Warne didn’t comment on the ex-CEO’s departure at the time, he did admit that the company’s financial situation had previously been ‘poorly administered’:
“The Shane Warne Foundation has always done the right thing, but in the last few years there have been some problems with financial numbers for the events we have been running. It was not done through malice or incompetence. We are cutting costs at the foundation but no decisions about jobs have been made yet.”

In a lengthy statement posted to Facebook today, Warne said this:

“It has been an absolute honour and privilege to be able to give back to children, and make a difference to their lives. 

Yes, the Foundation is closing, but all of us will continue to make a difference to children in need. 

There will be no further comment from TSWF Board Members or Chairman.”
