Robin Wright Speaks Out About Kevin Spacey For The First Time Since His Firing

Actress Robin Wright has broken her silence on former House of Cards co-star Kevin Spacey following his firing from the show due to multiple allegations of sexual misconduct.

In an interview on NBC‘s Today show, Wright was asked if she spotted any warning signs regarding Spacey’s alleged behaviour prior to the report.

“Kevin and I knew each other between action and cut, and in between setups where we would giggle,” she said. “I didn’t really– I didn’t know the man. I knew the incredible craftsman that he is.”

This is the first time that Wright has publicly addressed the controversy surrounding her former co-star of five years.

The sixth and final season of the show has been shortened to eight episodes and includes major cast additions Diane Lane, Greg Kinnear and Cody Fern.

Spacey was dropped from his role in House Of Cards and had his part cut out of the Ridley Scott film All The Money In The World after more than a dozen other men came forward with similar claims. Prosecutors in LA are currently reviewing charges against him.
