Ratbag Sydney Brothers Plead Guilty To Theft Of Stolen Bebé Marmosets

As police continue to hunt for the third and final stolen pigmy marmoset, two Sydney brothers and presumed dickheads, Jesse, 26, and Jackson George, 23, have today pleaded guilty to transporting and intending to sell the ultra-rare tiny monkeys.
The George bros appeared at Campbelltown Local Court after being picked up yesterday in Appin, south-west of Sydney, with the month-old bebe. Jesse was fined and given a two-year good behaviour bond, while Jackson will be sentenced in January.
Following the theft of the Symbio Wildlife Park’s monkeys Saturday morning, the Georges were tracked down thanks an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers, which couldn’t have come at a better time as the baby marmoset was unlikely to survive more than a day without its mother.
Luckily it seems like the mother and child have successfully reunited, as Symbio staff made clear in a Facebook post:
But while Wollongong police also found the baby’s aunt, Sofia, last night in the Campbeltown area, police continue to look for its father, Gomez, and are asking anyone with information in relation to the incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use their online reporting page: https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au/

Additionally, Symbio staff have stressed in their most recent post that, while an adult, Gomez still faces dangers outside the park as marmosets require a specialised diet, including supplements that are not available to the general public.
