PIMP MY KETTLES – AUSTRALIA’S FINEST ARTISTS TAKE TO THE HUMBLE KETTLE

Pimping is usually reserved for the misogynistic or morally corrupt. Artists however, can also get in on the act. Who said Pimping wasn’t easy?

From Pedestrian faves Jeremyville and Ben Frost to hotted up mini kettle cars it seems all you need to Pimp out a kettle is a little bit of talent and a whole lot of creativity. Check out the Pimped out kettles below for Frankenstein like kitchen appliance/work of art.

But it’s not all fun and games, the kettles will be auctioned off to raise money for “Youth Off The Streets”. From the website itself: “

A selection of kettles will be auctioned on ebay.com.au. The auctions will commence on August 21st. The auctions can be found in the charity section of ebay.com.au-search via ‘Youth Off the Streets’ and ‘Pimp My Kettle Charity Auction’.

On September 16th at MTV’s Gallery in Surry Hills, a live auction for a selection of kettles will be held to showcase the kettles. Host and auctioneer will be MTV VJ, Darren McMullen The kettles will be on display for the public in the gallery for a week after the auction.”
