It’s not everyday a beautiful mash up of Australian politics and pop culture comes together without editorialising, so when it does, you’ve gotta celebrate it for the rare little gem that it is.
Yesterday during a parliamentary sitting, Northern Territory Attorney-General John Elferink decided to bring up “the great American philosopher T-Swift.” And then he proceeding to bust out a reading of ‘Shake It Off‘ and got the lyrics wrong.
