Oh, man. Some choose to stay quiet on social media after a giant country-wide backlash, but not Chris Gayle. Nuh-uh.
After copping a $10,000 fine from the Renegades after his not-so-progressive comments on live television to Channel 10 reporter Mel McLaughlin, it seems as though Gayle’s trying to work his way through using the one thing he has left: humility.
The cricketer posted an image on Instagram tonight, hours after the fine, telling his fans he was going out to dinner with a mate.
However, he did make sure to note that his dinner companion Dwayne Bravo would be footing the bill, because his ‘pockets are empty’.
Ohhhhh mate. Okay. You do that.
