Meghan Markle’s On-Screen ‘Suits’ Fiancé Had The Cutest Message Of Congrats

Unless you’ve been in some kind of media blackout for the last 12 hours, you already know that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now engaged.

Rumours have been circulating that this thing would become official ever since it was announced that Suits actress (she plays paralegal Rachel Zane) would be exiting the series.

Patrick J. Adams, who plays her on-screen fiancé Mike Ross, had an extremely cute reaction to news of the royal engagement.

“She said she was just going out to get some milk,” he said, quote-tweeting the official announcement from Kensington Palace. But then he followed it up with a genuine, heartfelt message of congrats.

“Playing Meghan’s television partner for the better part of a decade uniquely qualifies me to say this: Your Royal Highness, you are a lucky man and I know your long life together will be joyful, productive and hilarious. Meghan, so happy for you, friend. Much love.”

Another co-star (or former co-star, we suppose), Gabriel Macht, who plays Rachel’s colleague Harvey Specter, also offered his congratulations.

Meanwhile, the disgustingly happy couple have given their first interview post-engagement, talking about how Harry proposed while they were trying to roast a chicken one night, and how the Queen’s corgis already love Meghan.

“And the corgis took to you straight away,” he said. “For the last 33 years, I’ve been barked at. This one [Meghan] walks in, absolutely nothing. Wagging tails.”

After you’ve got the all-important dog blessing, what else is really left?
