Mark Zuckerberg’s Done With Earth, Posts 360° VR Vid Of Mars’ Surface

At this point, Facebook’s obsession with colonising both regular reality and everything in this fandangled virtual reality shouldn’t come as a surprise. They dropped $2B on the largest VR firm around; Mark Zuckerberg went hard on the tech and how it’d allow us to effectively see through others’ eyes; they might even let y’all horndogs get your jollies with VR porn.

Those factors are still distinctly… Earthly. Zuckerberg, presumably bored with us mortals and everything he can pour his countless dollars on, has gifted us with a VR video, straight from Mars. MARS.

This is a neat 360 video from the surface of Mars. You can look around like you’re actually on the planet.NASA…

Thanks to a helping hand from NASA – and you know you’re a big tech player when you’re going tag-team with bloody NASA – the cool as shit vid joins others posted on the site, like… this one, which should well and truly do you for Shia LaBeouf content for the rest of time.
Almost as amazing: comments on said Mars video:

On second thought, maybe it’s not such a ridiculous idea for M-Zuck and his techno-illuminati to set up shop on Mars. Until then, we’ll sure as shit be here, still twiddling around on our boring Earth-bound screens.
