‘Making A Murderer’ Baes Jerry Buting & Dean Strang Are Touring Aus Omg

Just in case your thirst for the ‘Making a Murderer’ legal team has faded slightly since finishing the first season of the iconic Netflix series, be prepared to get ~moist AF~ once again.

Jerry Buting and Dean Strang are touring Australia this year.
They’re coming to our shores in November, on their global speaking tour about criminal justice. They’ll talk about their experiences with the Steven Avery trials, and other systematic failures of the US justice system.
Strang was inspired by by seeing how the spoken word could draw crowds, particularly with extremely broad topics such as science and literature, and wants to do the same for criminal justice.

“I think it’s finding an appetite for the audience, and talking about the film on one hand, and larger systemic issues on the other, and how to mix in humour on a very unfunny topic on a real-life murder case.”
So, fans of ‘Making a Murderer‘, true in crime in general, and those who absolutely fucking fangirl over Strang and Buting (particularly those who retweeted the below meme) – they’re coming for you.
So, true crime nerds, here’s your dates:
Concert Hall, Perth, Tuesday 1st November
Opera House, Sydney, Thursday 3rd November
AEC Theatre, Adelaide, Friday 4th November
QPAC, Brisbane, Sunday 6th November
Hamer Hall, Melbourne, Monday 7th November
