I’m very sorry to bring you this story because it’s destroying my heart even just thinking about it.
A three-month-old precious tiny baby chihuahua named Chewy who was abandoned in a Las Vegas airport over the weekend has caused a bit of a stir online simply because he is so very precious and everyone wants to adopt him.

Chewy was found by someone travelling through the airport, and was handed over to the team at Connor and Millie’s Dog Rescue (CMDR), who put his photo and the note found with him on their Facebook in an attempt to reach his mum.

The note details that he was left behind by his mum because of a domestic violence situation, and Chewy’s mum was worried that he’d wind up getting very hurt. Oh my goodness.
The post itself has gone nuts online, with hundreds of people putting their hand up to adopt sweet angel Chewy into their forever homes.

CMDR are posting as Chewy, documenting his journey back to being a very happy and healthy puppo, and shouting out other precious pups that are also looking for new homes.
He’s been a very good boy and is looking happier and healthier with every photo that CMDR put up of him.
